Join us in creating music access for all by attending the annual Chaminade Fundraiser – proceeds go to Chaminade programming which includes our Girls Rock Fox Cities programming helping youth gain skills and access in a genre and field that is not always welcoming and accessible to women and non-conforming individuals.

Since gender can already be a barrier to pursuing music, our goal is to ensure socioeconomic status is not a barrier to our Girls Rock Fox Cities program: every participant can attend the GRFC camp free of charge, which is why Chaminade’s Annual fundraiser is so very important to the work we are doing in the community.

So SAVE THE DATE of Friday, March 15th, 2019! More updates to come but we hope to see you there in solidarity and celebration of Chaminade as we work to bring music and opportunity to each corner of our community.

Chaminade Swings!

Chaminade is excited to be part of the Giving Thanks Jazzfest happenin’ at Dairyland Brew Pub on November 24th! Be sure to check out our Facebook event for more info! Several Guest Artists will be present including Kristin Sponcia from Milwaukee, and donations will be taken to help Compassionate Home Health Care. Our set will include jazz and swing classics such as Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, My Funny Valentine, Route 66, Moon River, and more.

Same Great Choir, New Reduced Dues

Chaminade Women’s Chorus is going through a revitalization and is looking to continue making it a sustainable organization in the community while also being as accessible and equitable as possible.

The Chaminade board recently voted to reduce Membership Dues which we hope will greatly increase the ability for all women-identifying folks in our community to join us for our upcoming season and share their love of music. Finalized costs will be shared once our Membership Agreement is voted on for the 2018-19 season. For reference, our recent dues costs have been $200 a season for continued members (or roughly $25 a month) and $150 for new members (or roughly $20 a month).

Raising Funds for Girls who Rock!

Chaminade Women’s Chorus is putting the FUN in Fundraiser!

Join us Thursday, March 8th at Gibson Music Hall in downtown Appleton for a music-filled night of delight and fun for a great cause. This event will run from 5-10pm with four amazing acts featuring women and girls throughout the evening.

Tickets are $16 ahead of time, or $15 at the door the night of (if available). Funds raised will be going towards Chaminade Women’s Chorus and our new educational outreach program, a summer girls rock camp that will be fully-funded and free for girls who participate!

75 years and going strong!

This past spring, Chaminade celebrated 75 years of music-making in our Fox Valley community!
